  People call on government to curb inflation in Armenia June 17, 2011 - 12:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Collection of signatures against high inflation rate in Armenia has been launched at the Republic Square. The protest action was organized by Oxfam international organization and a number of non-governmental organizations in Armenia. Since early morning, they handed over special messages to the members of State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC) in front of the building of the Ministry of Economy. The initiators call on Armenia’s relevant state bodies to make investments to SME and agricultural cooperation as well as control process for imported food products and to boost local production.
