RA President thanks CoE for boosting reforms in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia attaches great importance to the membership in the Council of Europe, in the framework of which it developed active cooperation to carry out complex reforms in the country, RA President said.

“I have confirmed the determination of Armenia to carry out the items of the Armenia-CoE agenda, including obligations we assumed,” Serzh Sargsyan said after his meeting with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland.

The head of the state also thanked the CoE for the assistance in accomplishment of reforms in Armenia as well as discussed issues regarding domestic processes in Armenia, according to the presidential press office.

Upon completion of the working visit to Strasbourg, the Armenian delegation headed by the RA President returned to Yerevan.
