Armen Ashotyan: Internet to be provided in 98% of Armenian schools July 1, 2011 - 15:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Internet connection will be provided in 98% of Armenian schools, according to Armenian Minister of Education and Science. As Armen Ashotyan told a news conference in Yerevan, a specific company was assigned with provision of internet in 414 Armenian schools in the framework of a tender. Due to sums saved, 45 more schools will be provided with internet connection, along with regional schools. As the Minister noted, the process of provision of computers to schools of Armenia and Artsakh was completed, with 2300 computers supplied to 230 schools in Armenia; approx. 100 computers were donated to Artsakh schools. Opening of 96 preschool institutions in the provinces of Armenia is planned, to help children keep pace with the school curriculum.
