OSCE MG is urged to discuss opening of OSCE mission in Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - It’s high time for Nagorno Karabakh authorities to be involved in the discussion of issues involving the fates of Artsakh people, according to the head of Armenian delegation to OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

As Aram Safaryan told a news conference in Yerevan, the OSCE MG may raise the issue of NKR involvement in negotiations at OSCE standing committee and Council of Ministers.

“A direct work should be launched with Nagorno Karabakh through diplomatic mission and opening of local OSCE Office. It’s natural to Europeans that the fate of Artsakh can’t be decided without considering the opinions and wishes of local population,” Safaryan said.

“It’s time for OSCE MG Co-chairs to discuss the issue and address relevant institutions for the opening of OSCE mission in Karabakh,” he concluded.
