Yerevan hosts award ceremony for Ameria Cup tennis tournament winnersJuly 11, 2011 - 17:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - This year, Armenia is hosting 4 Armenian Tennis Federation-initiated international men and women’s tennis tournaments, sponsored by Ameria Group of Companies. 235 sportsmen from 18 countries worldwide applied for participation in Ameria Cup tournament held July 4-9; 8 tennis players made it to finals; tournament prize fund comprised USD 15 thousand. Ilya Starkov of Russia, Yervand Gasparyan of Armenia won the sparring finals. Dino Martz of Croatia won the individual championship finals. The tournament was completed by an official award ceremony, Ameria Group of Companies press service reported.
