Ten Armenian companies to compete for European Business Awards

The results are now in for the second round of European Business Awards sponsored by HSBC, according to HSBC Bank Armenia cjsc press service.

220 exceptional companies, ten businesses from Armenia have been selected to represent their nation across Europe and compete in the next stage to ultimately win a European Business Award.

Astrid Clifford, HSBC Bank Armenia Chief Executive Officer commented: “I am extremely proud to see such a significant growth of Armenian businesses among the Ruban d’Honneur country representatives comparing last year. Their selection is highly deserved, and highlights the success of Armenian entrepreneurs over the past twelve months “.

The Country Representatives will now be judged by an eminent panel of economists, academics, business leaders, politicians and media owners. They will evaluate the entries and select the top 100 scoring companies to become Ruban d’Honneur recipients, to be announced on 28th July. All Ruban d’Honneur recipients will than invited to attend the European Business Awards Gala presentation ceremony at the Rey Juan Carlos I in Barcelona on 22nd November, where all award winners will be revealed in front of Europe’s top business leaders, politicians, entrepreneurs, business commentators, and media.
