At the meeting, the parties referred to the possibility of receiving technical assistance for population census in Armenia, the memorandum of understanding on energy-related researches, the status of Millennium Challenge Corporation-implemented programs, as well as the reforms underway in different spheres, including progress in anticorruption actions. The discussion also focused on preparations for the sitting of the Armenian-American intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation due in September, at which the two sides will discuss issues relating to the development and reinforcement of economic ties, governmental press service reported.
