Armenian armed forces general staff chief departs for Germany

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian armed forces general staff chief, Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov has departed for Germany to attend an annual meeting of NATO partner states’ general staff heads to be held with support of the U.S. European Command (USEUCOM) in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, from August 17 to 19.

Colonel-General Khachaturov is expected to meet with admiral James Stavridis, USEUCOM Commander to discuss military cooperation issues.

The Armenian delegation will be back in Yerevan on August 20.
