Yerevan team wins Pan-Armenian Games futsal tournament

PanARMENIAN.Net - The team from Yerevan won the futsal tournament of the 5th Pan-Armenian Games, defeating Bolshaya Neklinovka (Russia) 5:0 in the final match.

Team from Buenos Aires finished second, followed by Tehran.

“We have run out of energy, as we had to play two matches per day. But the most important thing for us was the atmosphere we felt in our homeland,” Bolshaya Neklinovka player Tigran Papikyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

Yerevan goalkeeper Harutyun Harutyunyan congratulated his team members on the 4th consecutive victory.

The 5th Pan-Armenian Games held in Yerevan from August 14 to 21 brought together over 3000 sportsmen from 125 cities.
