46232 carats of diamond produced in Armenia Jan-Aug 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - 46232 carats of diamond were produced in Armenia in January-August 2011 against 43 329 carats during the same period in 2010.

According to the National Statistical Service, 218,3 kg of jewelry was produced during the reporting period against 267,5 kg in 2010. The slump in the industry was 18,4% compared to January-August 2010.
