Manuk Vardanyan, Philippe Szymczak discuss North- South expressway construction

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan met a European Investment Bank (EIB) delegation led by Philippe Szymczak, EIB head of Transport, Telecom & Corporate Division for Eastern Europe.

At the meeting, the parties focused on a number of issues, including EIB’s co-financing of road construction programs. As Mr. Szymczak noted, the Bank is ready to finance infrastructure programs, with EIB-ADB co-financing of Talin- Gyumri area of North- South expressway under discussion, ministerial press service reported.

In conclusion, the Minister suggested the Bank’s financing of the whole North- South expressway construction project.
