Armenian wrestlers win 3 gold medals at Stepan Sargsyan tournament

PanARMENIAN.Net - Freestyle wrestling international tournament dedicated to the memory of Olympic Games silver winner, World and European champion and World Cup winner Stepan Sargsyan, completed in Vanadzor, Armenia.

The tournament hosted Armenian, Russian, Ukrainian and Georgian participants.

Armenia’s Artur Arakelyan, David Safaryan and Hajumurad Nurmagometov won gold in 60, 66 and 84kg weight classes.

Georgia’s Georgi Edisherashvili (55kg), Georgi Gogeshelidze (under 96kg), David Modzanashvili (120kg) and Ukraine’s Giya Chkaladze (under 74kg) won gold in their categories.
