Seyran Ohanyan denies possible resignation of chief of general staff

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Minister denied rumors about a possible resignation of the chief of the General Staff of Armed Forces, Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov.

As Seyran Ohanyan told journalists at Armenian parliament, “the resignation reports are false, with army officials, led by Defense Minister, continuing to fulfil their duties.”

With Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan and Police Chief Alik Sargsyan having resigned their posts, the resignation of some other officials is not ruled out.
