Iran FM calls U.S. accusation of Saudi envoy plot a failed Hollywood script

PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran has been successfully resisting western pressure for many years, according to the county’s Foreign Minister.

“U.S. accusing Iran of plotting to kill the Saudi ambassador to Washington is nothing but a failed Hollywood script,” Ali Akbar Salehi told a news conference in Yerevan.

“In its attempt to pressure Iran, the U.S. administration is ready to use any absurdity,” the official said.

Earlier, U.S. prosecutors accused the two men of planning to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the United States, Adel al-Jubeir, by planting a bomb in a Washington restaurant. The Iranian government denies any involvement.
