Lithuania ready to help Armenia establish partner relations with EU

PanARMENIAN.Net - A newly-appointed Armenian Ambassador to Lithuania Ara Ayvazyan submitted his credentials to Lithuania President Dalia Grybauskaite.

At the meeting, the President characterized the opening of a diplomatic representation as a long- awaited event in strengthening of bilateral ties.

The parties further dwelled on intensification of ties in the Association Agreement and Eastern Partnership program format, with the President expressing readiness to assist Armenia in establishment of partner relations with EU.

Discussion of international and regional issues was also on meeting agenda, Armenian Foreign Ministry press service reported.
