Yerevan residents will decide Persia Tower's fate – Municipality![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Neither Yerevan Municipality nor Architecture Council have discussed the project of Persia Tower construction, city administration’s spokesman said. As Artur Gevorgyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, project discussion has been scheduled to most probably take place at Architecture Council. If approved by the Council, the project will be submitted to public discussion with the involvement of interested parties. Thus, Yerevan residents will be able to decide whether to allow or ban the Persia Tower construction. Persia Tower, a 50-storey skyscraper designed by Iranian architect Aryan Shahabian is planned to be built in the center of Yerevan, between Moscow film theatre and Golden Tulip hotel. Shahabian's project won the 2nd place in an international architecture contest. Foreign Ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan noted in his Facebook page that he has no intention to change his current job. Intrauterine devices "and implants are more effective because women can forget about them after clinicians put the devices in place." The government of Armenia hosted a sitting on coordination of buildings’ construction in the center of Yerevan.
