Azerbaijan must pay for every Armenian soldier’s death - expert

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan must pay for the death of every Armenian soldier, a political analyst stated.

As Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan told a news conference in Yerevan, “Armenia’s response to Baku provocations never fails to force it to stop aggression. “Thus, in spring 2011, the death of Artsakh military official in an Azeri attack was followed by elimination of 40 Azeri soldiers, what made Azeris refrain from provocative acts for a long while,” the expert noted.

“By threatening renewed war in Karabakh, Azerbaijan is trying to blackmail international community into concessions,” the expert said.

Military expert Artsrun Hovhannisyan links Nov 19, 20 incidents at contact line to autumn conscription in Armenia. “Baku is trying to escalate tensions in Armenian society to cause avoidance of military service,” the expert explained.

On the morning of November 20, at 8.50 am local time, NKR defense army soldier Mihran Margaryan, born 1992, was killed over Azeri ceasefire violation, while on military duty.

As a result of ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani side, 19-year-old NKR defense army conscript Armen Simonyan was killed by a sniper shot during military duty on November 19, 8.40 am local time.
