John Heffern: U.S. promotes Armenian-Turkish protocols ratification

PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. will promote ratification of Armenian-Turkish protocols for as long as Washington’s official support for rapprochement continues, U.S. Ambassador to Armenia said.

As John Heffern stated, summarizing the results of Armenia-Turkey business forum, the event is important both in development of business ties and strengthening of bilateral relations.

The Ambassador further stressed the “political message” of the forum, aimed at improvement of relations between the two countries.

On November 22, a USAID-sponsored Armenian-Turkish business forum kicked off in Yerevan, to hosting over 50 entrepreneurs from various regions of Turkey (Istanbul, Ankara, Malatya, Igdir, Kars, Diyarbakir, etc.)
