Armenian Embassy opens in Denmark

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian is in Denmark on an official visit,.

According RA MFA press office, Minister Nalbandian met with Danish Minister for European Affairs Nicolai Wammen and attended the official opening ceremony of RA Embassy in Denmark.

The Armenian Minister expressed hope that the diplomatic mission will have major contribution to the development of bilateral relations.

Mr. Wammen, in turn, noted that Denmark stands ready to improve ties with Armenia. He also dwelled on the friendship between the two nations that goes backs to the beginning of the 20th century when Danish missionaries rendered assistance to Armenian Genocide survivors.

Mr. Wammen also touched on EU-Armenia, favoring Armenia’s achievements in European integration process.
