PM views demand for government resignation as way to attract voters’ attention

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan commented on a statement by ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD) regarding government resignation for frustrating 2008-2010 program.

“This issue bears political background, as our partners on one hand raise problems that interest them, on another they attract voters’ attention,” Tigran Sargsyan said.

Dwelling on frustrating 2008-2010 program, PM Sargsyan noted that economic indices are annually reviewed as global financial and economic crisis was a serious challenge for all governments.

ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD) opposition party drafted a resolution, suggesting Armenian President Serz Sargsyan passes a vote of no confidence in the government.

“The government, which, over the years, proved unable to reach the goals stipulated in 2008-2012 program is not to be trusted,” ARFD member Armen Rustamyan stated at National Assembly.
