Vice speakers Eduard Sharmazanov and Samvel Balasanyan, heads of standing parliamentary committees and parliamentary group members also participated in the meeting. Samvel Nikoyan favored Armenian-Lebanese ties and expressed hope that president’s visit will give new impetus to them. Nikoyan further noted that Armenian community in Lebanon is a reliable link between the two countries.
