Armenia, Italy to develop cooperation in energy sectorDecember 13, 2011 - 19:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In the framework of the working visit to Italy, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with his Italian counterpart Giorgio Napolitano. During the meeting the presidents touched on holding series of exhibitions dedicated to Armenian cultural heritage in Rome and Venice. Parties expressed confidence that President Sargsyan’s visit to Italy will foster strengthening of bilateral ties, stressing the need to deepen cooperation in energy and business sectors. Dwelling on a number of regional and international issues the presidents mulled over development of Armenia-EU relations, as well as Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process. Later, President Sargsyan will attend an exhibition dedicated to Armenian khachkars in Venice followed by a meeting with President of the Italian Chamber of Deputies Gianfranco Fini and Head of the Italian delegation to OSCE PA, Mr. Riccardo Migliori, presidential press service reported.
