Vahan Hovhannisyan disfavors Armenia’s growing poverty

PanARMENIAN.Net - ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group leader summed up the outcomes of 2011, attaching special importance to the problem of mounting poverty in the country.

“It is impossible to comment on accomplishments amid growing poverty,” Vahan Hovhannisyan said.

Dwelling on foreign policy issues, Mr. Hovhannisyan noted French and Lebanese presidents’ visits to Armenia among major political achievements of the year.

He further noted that Armenia has not withdrawn its signature from Armenian-Turkish protocols yet, which continues to negatively affect the country.
