MP: Genocide denial policy should not be tolerated in France

“Denial is unacceptable and should not be tolerated in a country like France. I hope that everyone will vote today, being guided by the conscience,” Patrice Calmejane said, adding that he will support the bill, which envisages a year in jail and a fine of 45,000 euros for those who publicly deny the Armenian Genocide in France.
