Four players score 2 points at Armenian men's chess championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 72nd Armenian men's chess championship is ongoing at Tigran Petrosian Chess House, with 4 players having scored 2 points each after the first three rounds.

After beating Artashes Minasyan in the third round, Hrant Melkumyan climbed to the 1st place, with Minasyan, Tigran L. Petrosian and Zaven Andriasian taking the 2nd, 3rd and 4th places resp.

Meanwhile, Maria Kursova dominates the women’s championship, leaving Liana Aghabekyan 0,5 point behind. With 2,5 points, Anna Hayrapetyan holds the 3rd place.

The 4 round is due January 14, 3:00pm Yerevan time.
