In the framework of the event, Aznavour exchanged greetings with the newly-elected Swiss President Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf and Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter wishing success, productive work and further development of Armenia-Switzerland cooperation. Charles Aznavour also held a working meeting with Armenian-Swiss parliamentary friendship group, during which the parties discussed cooperation lines on parliament level of both countries, possibilities of bilateral visits, with Aznavour praising Swiss activity aimed at Armenian Genocide recognition.
