Private remittances to Armenia totaled $1 380,6mln in Jan-Nov 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - $1 380,6 mln was transferred to individuals through the Armenian banking system in January-November 2011. According to the RA Central Bank’s monthly bulletin, 23,1% increase was recorded as compared with the same period of last year, with private remittances totaling $142,5 mln. in November 2011.

Besides, the amount of remittances from Armenia totaled $238,4 mln in January-November 2011 that is 20,1% higher against$198,5 mln. of the same period of 2010. During the reported period, the net cash inflow increased by 21% amounting to $1 142,1 mln against $943,8 mln in January-November 2010.

Meanwhile, Russia keeps the biggest share of remittances to Armenia - $1028,7 mln, followed by the U.S. - $40,5 mln, Kazakhstan - $16,9 mln and Ukraine- $8,2.
