  Zvartnots Airport serviced over 1,6 million passengers in 2011  February 1, 2012 - 16:23 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - The number of passengers at Zvartnots Airport in January - December 2011 totaled 1 600 891 against 1 612 016 during the same period in 2010. According to the Central Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia, 792 944 people arrived in the country in January - December 2011 against 795 159 during the same period in 2010. 807 947 people left Armenia during the reporting period against 816 866 in that of 2010. About 10 014 tons of cargo was transported in January - December 2011 against 8 802 tons during the same period of 2010. The total number of takeoffs and landings in the reporting period reached 9 858 against 9 781 during 2010.
