Orange opens computer center in Armenian villageFebruary 2, 2012 - 16:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A modern computer center with broadband internet access was opened in Lori province’s village of Shahumyan through joint efforts of Orange, Shen charity organization and the local community. The fully-equipped facility will offer computer courses for Shahumyan residents. Bruno Duthoit, Orange Armenia CEO said: “Modern technologies develop at an uncredible speed, facilitaing people’s lives and stimulating social, cultural, scientific development. As a telecommunication company, our job is to bring the modern communication means to everyone. This computer center will allow internet acess to all those who cannot afford it at home.” Orange has allocated a total of AMD 2,348,000 to implement the project.
