Sergei Movsesian finishes 11th at Gibraltar Chess Fest

PanARMENIAN.Net - In Tradewise Gibraltar Chess Festival round 10, Armenian grandmaster Sergei Movsesian tied the game with Russia’s Peter Svidler to finish 11th with 7 points.

Gabriel Sargissian beat Georgia’s Nana Dzagnidze to gain 21st place with 7 points. Varuzhan Akobian lost to Alexis Cabrera to come 51st with 6 points.

England’s Nigel Short won the tournament, having scored a tie-break win over China’s Hou Yifan.
