Open Government Partnership program kicks off in ArmeniaFebruary 8, 2012 - 11:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 7, Armenian Foreign Ministry hosted the first meeting of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) working group’s program. The main objectives were highlighted and an action plan was drawn up. The program aims at strengthening relations between state and the civil society as well as implementation of reforms in government agencies. It has brought together over 40 countries, with Armenia joining it in 2011, RA MFA press service reported. Yerkir: serious reshuffle is expected at the Republican Party of Armenia after Tsarukyan’s refusal to join coalition. Zhamanak: the bureau of former Foreign Minister, however, refused to reply further questions on Oskanian’s plans. Stepan Safaryan says Prosperous Armenia’s decision doesn’t change anything, as it won’t become opposition. Aram Sargsyan deemed the current intrigue between Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and Prosperous Armenia illogical. |
