“Object of Beauty” to star Amy Adams

PanARMENIAN.Net - Amy Adams will star in and produce “Object of Beauty”.

The “Fighter” actress will take the leading role in the adaptation of Steve Martin's novel, which she will produce alongside Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray, M&C said.

The movie tells the story of 15 years in the life of the lead character as she acquires her own art gallery after working at Sotheby's and becomes romantically involved with a series of men, one of whom goes on to be a famous artist.

Trudie and Celine - who work together at Maven Pictures - said: “We couldn't be happier to be working with the brilliant Amy Adams on this adaptation of Steve Martin's smart novel. This project continues on Maven's mission of making films that highlight strong female characters and talent.”

Amy - who has been nominated for three Oscars - can next be seen in the leading role of Mary in “The Muppets”, and has also filmed the role of Lois Lane in forthcoming Superman movie “Man of Steel”.
