Russian official deems visit to Armenia quite productive

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev.

Discussion of strengthening of cooperation in security, military technical and humanitarian fields was in focus of the meeting.

President Sargsyan expressed confidence for Patrushev’s visit to contribute to deepening of Armenian-Russian ties.

“Mr. President, your visits to the Russian Federation, as well as discussions with President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin always gave fresh impetus to bilateral relations,” Patrushev said, for his part, assessing his visit to Armenia as quite productive.

The parties further dwelled on a number of regional issues including Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, presidential press service reported.
