  Armenia has highest internet usage index in CIS  February 10, 2012 - 12:26 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - According to InternetWorldStats.com international monitoring company’s 2011 report, only 32,7% of world’s population has access to the internet, the number totaling 2,267,233,742 over the past year. According to the report, Armenia tops the list of CIS countries by its internet usage index, the figure amounting to 1,796,550 people (47,1%). The report says 44,1% out of all Azerbaijani population are internet users, the number decreasing by 0,3%. against that of 2010. Iceland with 97% internet users, Norway (94,4%), and Sweden (92,4%) top the chart, with South Korea announced a leader among Asian countries, novostnik.ru. reported.
