  Exert says U.S. will use Azerbaijan’s territory in case of war with Iran February 10, 2012 - 14:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. is sure to use Azerbaijan’s territory to launch possible military operation against Iran, according to Director of RA NAS Institute of Oriental Studies. “Through cooperation with the U.S., Azerbaijan will attempt to settle Nagorno Karabakh conflict in its favor,” Ruben Safrastyan said, however, ruling out the possibility of hostilities with Iran in the nearest future. “U.S. won’t benefit from a war with Iran from a strategic standpoint. However, controversial it may seem, Iranians have a more positive approach towards America than some U.S. partner states do,” Safrastyan said.
