According to Empire, the Passion Of The Christ actor has been cast in the action thriller as the adversary to Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Mikael Hafstrom is directing the film, about a security expert who designs prisons (played by Stallone) teaming up with a prison inmate (Schwarzenegger) to escape one of his own prisons after being framed for a crime. Caviezel will play a prison warden who is on their tail. Producer Mark Canton revealed details of the casting during a guest appearance on the Matthew Aaron show in the US. The film is set to start production this year with a view to being released next year.
