Abraham to take on Wilczewski March 31![]() February 22, 2012 - 10:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Former International Boxing Federation (IBF) middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (33-3, 27 KO) will face in his next fight the former EBU super middleweight champion Piotr Wilczewski (30-2, 10 KO). The bout will take place on March 31 in Cologne, Germany, boxingnews24.com reported. In October last year, the nicknamed “Wilk” (“The Wolf”), faced James DeGale in Liverpool, and lost his European title being defeated by majority decision. On Feb 17, Wilczewski auspiciously bounced back beating Serbian Geard Ajetovic by split decision. In his last ring appearance, Abraham also bounced back after the acute loss to Andre Ward knocking out Argentinian Pablo Oscar Natalio Farias in the 5th round. Abraham has won 2 straight after losing 3 bouts in the Super Six tournament; Stieglitz has gone undefeated since 2008. The IOC will decide which city will host the 2020 Olympics in a final vote on September 7, 2013 in Buenos Aires. From June 3-7, it will go to Northern Ireland and then the Republic of Ireland - the only country outside UK on the torch route.
