Electricity Networks of Armenia to be fined AMD 10 bln, paper says![]() February 23, 2012 - 10:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Inspection conducted by the State Revenue Committee of Armenia at the Electricity Networks of Armenia company is not over yet. According to Zhoghovurd paper, scandalous disclosures and maybe even arrests are coming up soon in relation to this case. The paper quotes its sources in the Committee saying the Electricity Networks of Armenia company will soon face a AMD 10 billion fine. This does not seem to come as a surprise for the company which expects the fine to total approximately such sum; however, this is not confirmed officially. The newspaper reminds that check-ups at the company started back in October 2011 during which offices of the branches were searched, computers were seized, and a criminal case was filed. Armenian delegation headed by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan will pay a two-day working visit to Ashgabat.
