Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon team up for musical

PanARMENIAN.Net - Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon and Beyonce are in talks to star in musical comedy One Hit Wonders, Belfast Telegraph reported citing Deadline.

Glee director and creator Ryan Murphy - who brainstormed the idea with Gwyneth, Cameron and Reese at dinner - is collaborating with Sony Pictures to get the movie made with the four beauties in the lead roles.

The trio of actresses are tipped to be cast as three singers who each scored a one hit wonder in the 90s. After watching their careers disappear into oblivion, they decide to form a supergroup. It is not known what role new mum Beyonce will play.

Singing isn't new to the actresses, with Gwyneth flexing her vocal cords in Glee. Reese previously showed off her skills in Johnny Cash biopic Walk The Line, while Cameron has sung in The Mask, My Best Friend's Wedding and The Holiday.

Comic actor Andy Samberg will reportedly write music for the film with his The Lonely Island partners Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer.

Ryan is attached to direct, and he will write the script with his Glee cohorts Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.
