Zhirinovsky says Karabakh belongs to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the initiative of the Forum of Armenian Organizations of Moscow, meeting with the Russian presidential candidate and leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) Vladimir Zhirinovsky took place.

He briefed those present on his presidential campaign, personal vision regarding political situation in Russia and in the world.

“We meet with the Armenian community in Moscow as we deem the national issue the most essential in Russia. Such meetings have become a tradition for our party,” Zhirinovsky said.

“Twenty years ago as a presidential candidate asked about possible solution to the Nagorno Karabakh problem, I answered that it belongs to Armenia,” he went on.

Zhirinovsky noted that only his party attaches special importance to the national issue, the solution to which is a key to success.

“My prior experience proves the problem resolution impossible from Kremlin. One should live among other nations to have better understanding of their history, traditions, problems, joys and troubles,” the politician concluded.
