Prosperous Armenia to get 7-8 seats in parliament by majority system - paper![]() March 1, 2012 - 10:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Leader of Prosperous Armenia party Gagik Tsarukyan declared on February 29 that their party will nominate members only in constituencies where they have suitable candidates. Zhoghovurd paper says it's worth mentioning in view of the recent statement of the Prosperous Armenia, which said Tsarukyan instructed to consider nominating candidates in all 41 constituencies. However, according to paper's earlier reports, Tsarukyan abandoned this idea after conversation with President Serzh Sargsyan during the recent meeting of the coalition parties. Rumors say that 7-8 seats by majority system will be allocated to Tsarukyan's party. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
