Lady Gaga adds 3rd Hong Kong show amid ticket scramble March 1, 2012 - 16:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Pop star Lady Gaga on Thursday, March 1 added a third Hong Kong show to her Asian tour after a scramble for tickets left fans out in the cold and sent the price of black market tickets soaring, M&C reported citing DPA. Live Nation, which is promoting the Born This Way Ball tour, said the tickets would go on sale Friday for the show which will be held May 5 at the city's 14,000-capacity Asia World-Expo venue. Tickets for Gaga's two shows on May 2 and 3 sold out within 90 minutes of going on sale this week, with many being snapped up by ticket touts rather than fans. At one point tickets with a face value equivalent to 200 US dollars were being traded on the black market at the equivalent of 3,868 US dollars each. Prices dropped to around 380 to 500 dollars following the announcement of the third concert. Police were called to deal with scuffles and allegations of queue-jumping outside at least one of 29 outlets where tickets went on sale Monday. A police spokesman also confirmed they were investigating several complaints regarding ticket sales. The U.S. singer, known for her over-the-top costumes and the hits Poker Face and Bad Romance, will also perform in Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo and Jakarta.
