Emmy Rossum joins Emma Thompson in “Beautiful Creatures” flickMarch 5, 2012 - 18:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Emmy Rossum is the latest actress to join the cast of supernatural love story Beautiful Creatures, Belfast Telegraph reported. The Mystic River star - who has most recently been seen on the small screen in US TV show Shameless - will play a young witch in the movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog. She joins Viola Davis and Emma Thompson in the flick. The film is about a pair of star-crossed teenagers, played by relative newcomers Jack O'Connell and Alice Englert, who are dealing with a curse that has hung over the girl's family for generations. Emmy's character is Ridley, the cousin of the girl, who becomes a dark witch on her 16th birthday. Filming will begin in and around New Orleans this spring.
