PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 6, delegation of the Armenian parliament headed by National Assembly vice speaker Eduard Sharmazanov met with speaker of Lithuanian Seimas Irena Degutienė in Vilnius. The latter attached great importance to implementation of democratic reforms in Armenia.

The Armenian representatives, in turn, voiced confidence for the parliament elections in RA to be fair and in line with democratic standards.

The parties also discussed issues related to Armenia’s European integration process, with Degutienė expressing readiness to support Armenia in compliance with European standards.

The MPs dwelt on the current stage of Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. Mr. Sharmazanov, in turn, called for conflict resolution in the framework of OSCE Minsk Group format.

“There is no alternative to international recognition of Artsakh Republic,” he said.
