Civil activists report collapse of Mozrov cave

PanARMENIAN.Net - Activists of “We will not keep silent” youth initiative in Vayots Dzor province reported on March 12 that the famous Mozrov cave, one of most spectacular monuments of Armenia’s nature, has collapsed.

The Armenian government has listed Mozrov cave on the state register of historic and cultural monuments.

Speleologists have repeatedly alarmed about the need to preserve Mozrov cavern, pointing out the lack of governmental support to this issue; still, no actions were taken by the state.
