Armenian ex-speaker will not join Prosperous Armenia, paper says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Although Prosperous Armenia announced it will publish its proportional election list during the congress on March 17, Hraparak paper learned that the list will be announced no sooner than March 21.

The paper quotes its sources in the party saying that neither Tigran Torosyan, ex-speaker of the National Assembly, nor Aghasi Arshakyan will join Prosperous Armenia.

As to Hmayak Hovhannisyan, Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan has not decided yet whether to admit him or not.

Hovhannisyan’s potential membership is said to be supported by the Russian embassy in Armenia and other Russian structures, but nobody assumes responsibility for his further actions, the paper says.
