German FM says his country supports Armenian-Turkish reconciliation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Germany welcomes efforts by Armenia and Turkey aimed at normalization of bilateral relations and stands ready to foster the negotiation process, German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle said.

Earlier, German ambassador to Armenia Hans-Jochen Schmidt reiterated Germany’s stance on favoring establishment of diplomatic ties between Turkey and Armenia, saying that much depends on the Turkish side in the reconciliation process.
