ANC nominates female candidate in 1st constituency - paper![]() March 17, 2012 - 10:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Congress representative Zoya Tadevosyan will be nominated in the 1 constituency in Yerevan’s Avan district by majority system, Chorord Ishkhanutyun paper reports. The paper reminds that Ruben Hayrapetyan who recently announced he won't run for the next parliament, has been traditionally “nominated” here over the past years. The Republican Party of Armenia will support candidacy of Edik Gevorgyan, dean of the history faculty of the State Pedagogical University nominated in this district. According to paper's data, the Prosperous Armenia party has no nominee in this constituency.
