Iran concerned over escalating tensions in Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran's position on Nagorno Karabakh issue remains unchanged, with the country continuing to urge for peaceful settlement of the conflict, Iranian Embassy in Armenia said in a statement.

Iran's policy on conflict settlement is based on mediatory efforts towards establishment of a dialogue between the conflicting parties to achieve sustainable peace and stability in the region, the statement said.

As an only country sharing a border with the conflict zone, the Islamic Republic of Iran expresses concern over escalating of regional tensions.
