Armenian midfielder says he had a dream debut with Kuban

PanARMENIAN.Net - Following his first goal in Russia’s Championship with Kuban FC, Armenian midfielder Marcos Pizzelli said he had a wonderful debut.

“I could only dream about it. The squad won, and I scored a goal,” he said.

Beating Rubin 1:0, Kuban ranks 8th with 54 points in Russian Premier League standings. Pizzelli said they had thoroughly prepared for the tournament.

“We examined our rival’s play during the whole week, studied their strengths and weaknesses. During the very match we totally devoted ourselves to the game. Training and dedication are the key factors of our success,” FC official website quotes Pizzelli as saying.

He also admitted he enjoyed the fans’ support greatly. “I am really sincere in saying this; they have a huge contribution to today’s match. I’m happy to play with such support.”
